My mom went to a class and learned how to make little shoes for babies. She shared the pattern with us (her daughters) and so I decided to make the girls some slippers. Here are Maia's.
I also decided to get some leather and make some baby shoes to give to new moms and to show for the mini class I'll be giving next week! I went to the D.I. and found a cheap leather jacket which I took apart (it didn't fit me anyway...so no temptation there!) and made these little shoes with some other scraps of leather. Just thought I'd share since they're so cute and really easy! You can find the pattern at

Cute shoes!! Jared says that's a great use for an old leather jacket. Some day I'll make some cute shoes too....some day.
