What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up?

It was Dr. Seuss week at the school and the kids were supposed to dress up one of the days as what they wanted to be when they grew up.  So I asked all my kids what they wanted to be.  

Sadie used to want to be a veterinarian until Casey told her she'd have to perform surgeries and then that was out.  So she didn't know anymore.

I asked Maia and she just said, "I want to be ME!"  So that costume was easy. :)

I already knew what Katie Belle wanted to be.  The proud owner of her very own ice cream shop!  If you haven't already heard, she's been saving her money so she can buy it when she gets older.  She also has a small notebook she writes her plans in.  So what I know so far is that her kids will work for her and that there will be an "Employees Only" room where her kids can go play when they get bored, because, you know, her kids will be employees!

She's probably going to sell churros, too, just so you know.

But I asked her how she wanted to dress up and this what she came up with.  She designed it and was jumping up and down when she saw it finished that morning.

But so no one was confused on whether she was just working at the ice cream shop she made her "Owner" sign.  Super cute!

 And then there was Luke.  He wants to be a nerd.  He's well on his way. :)
